The main purpose of the design idea is to create a pleasant, relaxing ambiance, that can detach you, for one hour or so, from all the problems that arise at work.
Two main design components work together in order to achieve this:
- the use of “warm” materials, that transmit the sensation of relaxation and coziness; the use of large printed images that connect the viewer with the function of the space;
- the visual and virtual partitioning of the cafeteria into several areas (that are still interconnected), by using wooden panels;

The second option is based on the same basic layout as the first one, but has quite an unusual visual and design approach: the lunch break is envisaged as an opportunity to escape from the daily routine.Due to the proximity of the airport , we chose the aviation field as our source of inspiration. This idea is also backed up visually by large format prints with aircraft images.The dividing panels become reccurent elements, taking the shape of an airplane’s landing gear;
